Club History

Leeds United were one of England’s great clubs of the 1960s and 70s under Don Revie, winning two First Division titles and a European trophy. They won the last First Division title before the Premier League in 1992 and were Champions League semi-finalists in 2001. Financial overextension caused by Champions League investment led to catastrophic decline — they dropped from the Premier League to the third tier of English football. A takeover by Andrea Radrizzani and then 49ers Enterprises brought new stability. Daniel Farke — the German manager — won The Championship title with 100 points in 2024/25, bringing them back to the top flight.
